FTDS is built for collectors, by a collector. These guidelines exist to keep the community accurate, respectful, and worth being part of. They apply alongside our Terms of Use — a violation of these guidelines is a violation of the Terms.

1. Be Accurate

Accurate cataloging is the whole point. Describe your caps honestly — authenticity, condition, and origin to the best of your knowledge.

  • Don't present counterfeit, replica, bootleg, or reproduction items as authentic
  • Label customs, restorations, and reproductions as such in your notes
  • Only upload photos of items you actually own — don't pull images from other listings or collectors to misrepresent condition or authenticity

2. Be Respectful

Disagreements about grails, grading, and pickups are part of collecting. Harassment isn't.

  • No harassment, threats, hate speech, or targeted abuse
  • No impersonating another collector, brand, or business
  • Respect a user who has blocked you or asked you to stop contacting them
  • Don't use follows, likes, or requests to spam or pressure other users

3. Keep Content Appropriate

  • No unlawful, sexually explicit, or violent content
  • No content that infringes someone else's copyright or trademark
  • No spam, unsolicited advertising, or fraudulent listings
  • Keep uploads relevant to your collection

4. Respect Privacy

Some collectors keep their profiles private. Honor that.

  • Don't share screenshots or details from a private collection without permission
  • Don't post another person's personal information (address, phone number, workplace, or anything else identifying)
  • Don't scrape, bulk-download, or automate access to other users' collections

5. Trades and Sales Happen Off-App

Wishlist and ISO listings are informational only. FTDS does not facilitate, process, or guarantee any transaction between users. Any trade or sale is arranged entirely outside the App and at your own risk — vet who you're dealing with, and don't use the App to run scams or bait-and-switch deals.

6. Reporting

If you see content or behavior that breaks these guidelines, use the in-app report tool or email support@ftdsapp.com. Include enough detail for us to find what you're reporting.

7. Enforcement

We may remove content, limit account features, or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines, at our sole discretion. Depending on severity, we may act with or without advance warning. Repeat violations — and repeat infringement of others' intellectual property — will result in account termination.

8. Changes

We may update these guidelines as the community grows and new features (such as messaging) launch. Material changes will be announced in the App.
